Romsey Sustainable Thoroughbreds & Museum

There are two separate but interrelated and complimentary aspects of this project; a sustainable thoroughbred complex and a museum showcasing the Australian stock saddle and the history of the horse in Australia. The Full Circle Thoroughbreds program aims to lead and demonstrate to the equine industry that thoroughbred racehorses can be managed throughout their life cycle in a world class showpiece facility. The museum will have five gallery rooms, a library, exhibition room, café and workshop areas. The design adhered to the principles of the One Planet Sustainable Buildings and Construction Program.
