Luke Jones Architects provide a specialised service in architectural services for equestrian
activities, in addition to a variety of residential and commercial work.
The team at Luke Jones Architects has a proven track record in managing the development
of equestrian facilities on a range of scales, from private stables to substantial international
centres. Our experience with developing masterplans for both greenfield and existing
locations and seeing them through to completion provides the depth of knowledge required
to deliver a professional outcome. We have active projects in all Australian states, as well as
a first international project currently under construction in Indonesia, with a passion for
delivering ‘good regional architecture’ appropriate to any regional climate and lifestyle.
Our ongoing practice focus on sustainability is vital to the successful masterplanning and
future vision for all scales of equestrian developments. An innate understanding of the
environmental requirements for horses and people to successfully operate is fundamental to
our specialist design service.
Luke has been the director of Luke Jones Architects since 2022, and was previously a
director of C4 Architects since October 2003, having completed his architecture studies at
the University of Adelaide in 1997. Luke has a broad experience across all aspects of
architectural practice and has designed and delivered projects ranging from small scale
residential work to masterplanning and large commercial facilities.
Luke Jones Architects have established themselves as leaders in the field of specialist high
quality equestrian design. In addition to his professional project experience, director Luke
Jones has participated for 30 years in the sport of Eventing, including competing at the
Burghley CCI***** Horse Trials in England in 2006. Luke’s sporting interest has crossed into
his professional life resulting in a significant body of architectural work relating to equestrian
activities. This knowledge and experience forms part of his expertise in all aspects of
delivering architectural projects.
