The Stables at Camden is a community equestrian facility located on the grounds of an historic house and associated with a residential subdivision.

The equestrian facilities provided to residents include a 25 stable barn, a 40 x 80m riding arena, and a covered picnic shelter.  The project was delivered together with Killahy Equine.

The Stables of Camden was the winner of the Best Residential Subdivision at the Urban Development Institute of Australia awards for 2023. 

‘The Judges were impressed by the overall masterplan and the attention to detail utilising every part of the site, both constrained and unconstrained to its maximum effect. Every part of this site has a place and purpose, and responds to the heritage, slope and flooding constraints, turning them in to a value adding proposition. The development had considerable challenges and yet managed to navigate a pathway to create a new benchmark of quality living in a large lot rural setting. The judges considered the quality of the project to be excellent, and that it sets the standard for a decidedly unique residential community. The development integrates well with the sites topography and heritage.’
